Unable to invoke endpoint URI successfully due to: oracle.fabric.common.PolicyEnforcementException: FailedCheck : failure in security check

Issue –> This issue usually occurs when you are invoking a secured webservice.

Error –>

Unable to invoke endpoint URI “http://localhost:7001/ps/services/ps” successfully due to: oracle.fabric.common.PolicyEnforcementException: FailedCheck : failure in security check

Cause –> This error occurs if there is a mismatch in webservice security policies.

Solution –>

In my scenario above exposed webservice is using the security policy as “oracle/wss11_username_token_with_message_protection_service_policy” and in my caller BPEL process i have used the policy as “oracle/wss11_username_token_client_policy” to invoke the service , due to this security check failed and it throws the above error.

For resolving this i have updated the caller policy to “oracle/wss11_username_token_with_message_protection_client_policy”
